At MNTR – Made North Threads, we’re more than a streetwear brand — we’re a movement for meaning.

Every thread we produce is 100% Made in Canada, using premium, ethically sourced materials. But what sets us apart is why we exist: to uplift youth through creativity, conversation, and connection.

We believe clothing can be more than fashion — it can be a platform for change.

MENTORSHIP + MENTAL HEALTH

MNTR is driven by a commitment to supporting youth living with ADHD, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. As a team with lived experience, we understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure of your path.

We’re in the process of building impactful mentorship and mental wellness initiatives — ones that foster creativity, confidence, and community.

Our goal is to:

  • Empower young people to express themselves

  • Create safe spaces for real conversations

  • Offer mentorship rooted in lived experience, not perfection

  • Challenge stigma around mental health — especially among youth

Community Roots — Recognized in Our City

MNTR was built on community — and our community saw it before anyone else did.
In 2025, co-founder Lukas Romano was recognized by the City of Vaughan for his leadership, creativity, and commitment to empowering youth.
Standing beside the Mayor and City Councillors, Lukas represented what MNTR stands for: purpose, mentorship, and using your voice to make a difference.

This moment became a reminder of why MNTR exists:
To lift young people up, to create real impact, and to lead with heart.
