Lukas Romano — The Visionary & Creative Heart

At just 18 years old, Lukas Romano turned a personal challenge into a powerful mission. A first-year student at York University studying Communication & Media with a focus in Education, Lukas blends creativity with purpose — shaping MNTR’s designs, youth message, and mental health advocacy.

Raised in Canada, Lukas always dreamed of building a brand that meant something. Living with ADHD and anxiety, he learned early on how powerful mentorship, support, and confidence can be. With his mom as his first mentor, he transformed obstacles into fuel — and MNTR (Made North Threads) was born.

Today, Lukas channels his experiences into every part of MNTR, from Canadian-made streetwear to creating programs that uplift youth across the country.

Sophia Romano — The Organizer, Leader & Voice of Direction

Sophia brings structure, clarity, and leadership to the MNTR mission. With a natural gift for planning and organization, she helps shape MNTR’s programs — from tutoring and school workshops to the upcoming mentorship platform.

Her role ensures that MNTR stays grounded, intentional, and aligned with its purpose: empowering Canadian youth through learning, guidance, and real-life support.

Sophia represents the steady voice behind the scenes — turning ideas into action and helping build a brand that young people can trust.

Milla Romano — The Artsy Creator & Creative Storyteller

Milla is the visual soul of MNTR. With an artistic eye and storytelling instincts, she helps craft the brand’s aesthetic, youth-focused content, and creative direction.

Her creativity plays a key role in shaping MNTR’s message, visuals, social presence, and upcoming apparel designs — ensuring each piece feels authentic, expressive, and inspiring.

Milla brings the imagination, heart, and youthful energy that makes MNTR feel alive and relatable.

In 2025, co-founder Lukas Romano was recognized by the City of Vaughan for his leadership, creativity, and commitment to empowering youth.
Standing beside the Mayor and City Councillors, Lukas represented what MNTR stands for: purpose, mentorship, and using your voice to make a difference.
