MNTR Made North Threads was founded by three siblings — Lukas, Sophia, and Milla — with one shared mission: to empower youth through mentorship, creativity, and community.

The idea for MNTR didn’t start as a business.
It started at home.

As siblings growing up in Vaughan, each of us faced our own challenges… school stress, confidence struggles, ADHD, finding direction, and trying to figure out who we wanted to become. What got us through wasn’t a program or a class — it was mentorship, unconditional support, and family.

With the help of our mom — the heart behind the scenes — we realized that so many young people today need what we were lucky to have:
someone to guide them, someone to believe in them, and a space where they feel understood.

So we built MNTR.

What began as a small clothing idea quickly grew into something bigger:
a movement to uplift students through mentorship, academic support, school talks, and purpose-driven Canadian-made apparel.

Today, MNTR is more than just a brand — it’s a platform created by youth, for youth.
We speak in classrooms.
We tutor students.
We design clothing that inspires confidence.
And soon, we’ll launch digital courses and a mentorship community that reaches young people everywhere.

Our mission remains simple and personal:
to help the next generation feel empowered, supported, and capable — the same way our family helped us.

We built MNTR from our hearts, our struggles, and our story.
