The Founders Behind MNTR Made North Threads

MNTR was built by three siblings — Lukas, Sophia, and Milla — inspired by their own experiences growing up. Each of them brings a unique perspective, talent, and energy to the mission of empowering youth.

Lukas – The Visionary & Mentor
Lukas is the face of MNTR’s mentorship and school talks. Passionate about helping students navigate school, confidence, and mental health challenges (including ADHD), he combines lived experience with a genuine desire to uplift others.

Sophia – The Organizer & Leader
Sophia keeps MNTR running smoothly. She leads programs, coordinates school talks, and manages community initiatives. Her leadership ensures that MNTR’s vision is translated into meaningful actions that truly support youth.

Milla – The Artsy Creator
Milla brings the creativity and design vision to MNTR. From apparel design to visual storytelling, she shapes the aesthetic and artistic side of the brand, creating clothing and experiences that inspire confidence and self-expression in young people.

Their Mom – The Heart Behind the Scenes
Our mom has always been MNTR’s guiding light. She supports, encourages, and helps shape MNTR’s mission: mentorship, empowerment, and giving back to the next generation.

Together, the siblings combine creativity, mentorship, and purpose to create a platform that goes beyond clothing — a movement for youth who want guidance, support, and inspiration.

Community Roots — Recognized in Our City

MNTR was built on community — and our community saw it before anyone else did.
In 2025, co-founder Lukas Romano was recognized by the City of Vaughan for his leadership, creativity, and commitment to empowering youth.
Standing beside the Mayor and City Councillors, Lukas represented what MNTR stands for: purpose, mentorship, and using your voice to make a difference.

This moment became a reminder of why MNTR exists:
To lift young people up, to create real impact, and to lead with heart.
