At just 18 years old, Lukas Romano is already laying the foundation for something bigger than fashion. A first-year student at York University, Lukas is studying Communication & Media with a concurrent focus in Education, combining creativity with purpose.

Born and raised in Canada—his home and native land—Lukas always dreamed of launching his own brand. MNTR (Made North Threads) is the realization of that dream, built on authenticity, resilience, and national pride.

Like many young Canadians, Lukas has faced his share of challenges, including ADHD and anxiety. With the unwavering support of his biggest mentor—his mom—he learned to turn those obstacles into strengths. MNTR is more than a fashion label; it’s a mission-driven movement to give back, inspire, and mentor.

Every MNTR piece is 100% made in Canada, reflecting Lukas’s belief that premium quality and purpose can go hand in hand. His vision extends beyond clothing: he's currently seeking collaborations with Canadian universities, mental health organizations, and mentorship programs to create real, lasting impact for youth navigating similar paths.
